MUAY THAI KICKBOXING

Muay Thai is a form of kickboxing known as the “art of eight limbs” as it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins. It is a combat sport of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. It is a great way to condition the entire body.

You’ll learn Muay Thai kickboxing techniques while building muscular strength, endurance, balance, agility, and coordination. Muay Thai also has been shown to promote well-being as it builds confidence and discipline.

Our sessions break down the core of Muay Thai kickboxing through ring drills, mitt work, bag work, and various partner drills. We focus our classes on footwork, head movement, punches, kicks, knees, elbows, stance and fluidity.

BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a combative martial art and competitive sport that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defeat a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique- most notably by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the other person.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu can be trained for sport, grappling tournaments, self defense, and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition. Sparring and live drilling play a major role in our training. All classes are beginner friendly, and a great core and total body workout.
