Q. What if traditional school does not begin in November?
A. Due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and the upcoming school year, we will plan to adapt to the needs of our families as necessary.
Q. What will a normal day look like?
A. As we receive more information from Salem-Keizer Schools, we will adapt our curriculum for the day to allow students to participate in their daily school schedule.
Q. What social distance protocols will be met?
A. Our program will adhere to all guidelines set by Oregon Health Department and Governor Brown. Students will be placed in cohort groups and will remain in those groups throughout the camp to reduce any potential spread of COVID-19, should it occur.
Q. What activities can my child expect each week?
A. We will provide students with trained Instructional Aides to support students with homework and supplemental material. In addition, we will provide regularly scheduled physical education, utilizing the programs and equipment offered within our clubs.
Q. Are you able to provide curriculum for children with special needs or on an Individualized Education Plan (IEP)?
A. We are not currently qualified to provide curriculum needed to adequately support children with additional needs.
