Club Fitness is Evolving

The fitness world is changing, and we’re changing with it.

We’re making strategic updates to our Club Fitness group exercise program, not because something is broken, but because we’re committed to delivering a better, more consistent experience that fits into your real life.

These changes reflect how our members are actually using the club, what we’re seeing across the broader fitness landscape, and what we know works for long-term success. Our goal is simple: make fitness more effective, more flexible, and easier to stick with.

Why we’re making changes

You want to move in different ways, on different days, for different reasons. You’re not training for just one thing. You’re training for life. Energy, strength, balance, longevity.

Today’s approach to fitness is about sustainability, not extremes. And here’s what we’ve learned: you don’t need an hour to get a great workout. We’ve already seen this with R30 and Age Strong. Shorter formats work, and they help people stay consistent. Now we’re applying that principle across our entire schedule.

What’s changing

We’re simplifying our class lineup to focus on the formats that deliver the most value and results.

Our primary class experiences will be Power, Centergy, and R30. These are the backbone of our program, offered most consistently across all clubs. You’ll also continue to see supporting formats like Club Dance, Core, and our Age Series classes, which serve specific goals and stages of life.

Some specialty classes will be offered in a more limited way based on demand, helping us keep schedules focused without overwhelming you with too many options.

New formats coming soon

We’re also excited to introduce Athlete30 in Spring 2026, a dynamic 30-minute format designed to build functional strength, power, and athleticism. This is just one example of how we’re evolving our offerings to give you more ways to train smarter, not longer.

What to expect with class lengths

To create consistency and flexibility, we’re standardizing class lengths across the board:

  • 30-minute classes will continue in formats like R30, Core, and Athlete30
  • All other group fitness classes will move to a 45-minute format.

This structure allows you to work hard without overcommitting your time, and it opens up new possibilities for stacking classes in one visit. Strength, then stretch. Cardio, then core. Mix and match in a way that fits your schedule and your energy level.

Consistency across all clubs

These updates will roll out across all Courthouse Club Fitness locations. Whether you’re at Battle Creek, Keizer, or visiting another club, you’ll know what to expect. Same formats, same structure, same quality experience.

This consistency also allows us to offer more classes throughout the day, serving more members more effectively.

Investing in the instructors you love

Great classes don’t just happen. They take planning, preparation, energy, and a lot of behind-the-scenes work.

As part of these updates, we’re increasing compensation for our club fitness instructors. This is our way of recognizing the incredible work they do and continuing to invest in the people who bring energy, expertise, and motivation to every single class. By supporting our instructors, we’re supporting better classes, stronger consistency, and an even better experience for you.

What you need to do

Please check the updated Club Fitness schedule before coming to class this week. Some class times and formats have changed.

Looking ahead

We know change can take a little time to settle in. But when members give the new lineup a real shot, most end up loving the flexibility and energy it brings.

So try something new. Stack a couple of classes. Experiment. Build workouts that support your real life, not someone else’s idea of what fitness should look like.

We’re excited about this next chapter and grateful to be part of your fitness journey.
