COURTHOUSE VOLLEYBALL CLUB
MISSION STATEMENT

We believe in training the athlete as a whole. Our goal is to provide a sports experience that builds character while teaching the fundamentals of the game. Also, we teach our athletes how to form healthy habits around exercise and nutrition that will carry them into adulthood. This creates the ability to influence both the athlete and their family, which allows us to have a positive effect on more than just those who wear a team jersey.

SEASON INFORMATION

The Club season is a commitment, but we help guide all players and families throughout the process. We facilitate teams ranging from the age of 12U up to 18U. Every season kicks off in November with Tryouts and runs through May. We invite you to attend our parent meeting where you will learn the missions, details and logistics of our club; have the ability to meet the coaches of the 2023-2024 season and have the opportunity to ask any questions about club volleyball. Our parent meeting will be held:

Scholarship/Fundraising Opportunities

CEVA SCHOLARSHIP

CEVA has two scholarship funds available each year. Applications are available October 1st and the deadline to submit the application is November 1st. Money from the funds come almost exclusively from donors. These funds help pay for individual athletes’ club dues – checks are written to the club, not to the individual family. Application requirements include essay questions and, in some cases, proof of government assistance.

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES

Courthouse Volleyball Club has multiple scholarships and fundraising opportunities available to athletes to help pay for individual club dues. These include:

Hoopla Scholarship – Athletes who volunteer at the 2023 Ong Hoopla, have the opportunity to complete an application (available 10/01/23) and submit it by 11/30/23.

10 for $10 Courthouse Fundraiser – Athletes have the opportunity to sell Courthouse passes and will receive all proceeds that they individually sell.

Raffle Opportunities – Athletes have the ability to sell multiple raffle tickets (Friendship Tournament 50/50 fundraiser, 50/50 Football Rivalry Squares)

ACADEMY

Volleyball is a very dynamic team sport and to help prepare athletes for this environment, we believe it is especially important to work on skills development. We provide various ways where we can coach our players either one-on-one or in group settings. (See Below)

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private Lessons offer and 1:1 environment where athletes receive individualized coaching, skill development, and application.
